Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Brothers, God would have you see that your mind is renewed, but it is you who must keep it renewed. Allow me to explain first of all what a renewed mind is, and then what we must do each day to both keep, and to walk in our renewed mind.

A renewed mind is one that is tuned into the very mind of Jesus, and God the Father. When you were born again a child of God by grace through your faith. All of your past sins were forgiven. Your old worldly, and sinful nature died, and you were born a new creature, a new creation made in the likeness of God, before Adam fell in the Garden of Eden. Just as we were born into sin, after Adam's fall from God's grace when he disobeyed God, and ate of the fruit of the tree of good and evil.

We are now in total communion with God through Jesus because of our rebirth. Part of our rebirth after our being born again, is our mind was to be renewed just as our spirit was renewed.

We are indeed a new creature in Christ Jesus. But, we still live in this world, and are subjected to the lost worlds ways. The ways of this world are not God's ways, but rather man's lost and dying ways. Therefore it is up to each of us to reject the ways, and the thoughts, of this world.

We are to follow after Jesus, and to walk as He walked, and to live as He lived. When we renew our minds, we prove, have proof of, that good and acceptable, and perfect will of God. Re-read the above verse slowly, while concentrating on the promise that God is giving to each of us who will accomplish the renewing of our minds.

Every decision that we make has consequences which are either good or bad. If our decisions are good then so are our consequences. But, if our decisions are bad then so to are our consequences.

Know this my brothers. For way to long I, and probably you, have wrongly believed that our mind and brain were one in the same. It is not. Our mind is not our brain. Our mind is the intended connection between God the creator and man.

Our mind is the method that God uses to communicate with each of us. Our mind is our connection to the very mind of Christ Jesus. This needs repeating, OUR MIND IS NOT OUR BRAIN! When you get this as I did, you will be able to go about the complete renewing of your mind as God intended for every one of His children to do.

It is you and I who renew our minds, and after that our minds are renewed we are directly connected to God the Father, and to Jesus, just as it was with Adam before the fall, and now is intended to be with each of us His children.

Our mind is in our spirit not our fleshly head. Remember brothers after that we were born again we became spirit. God's very own Holy Spirit came to reside inside you and me along with Christ Jesus himself. Jesus and the Holy Spirit delivers all truth to our spirit man through our spirit mind.

We the church must go about renewing our minds in these last days in which we now live. God has much for us to do in this hour, and it will take the renewing of all of our minds in order to complete the assignment that only you, and I can complete.

Recall from my previous messages to you that God's Word tells us that He knew you before the foundation of the world, and we were each one given an assignment to complete here on this earth. Only you can complete your assignment given you by God. If you do not complete your assignment then it will go undone for no one else can do it.

Now allow me to tell you how we go about renewing our minds.

Deuteronomy 30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

Brothers, the above verse says, that life is blessing, and death is cursing, and He tells us to choose life. Life is from God, and death is from the curses of satin, that evil one, the defeated devil. Jesus defeated the devil, and took the keys to death and hell from him. He can do nothing to us unless we allow him to. We allow him to bring us into a defeated, and negative thought process by receiving negative thoughts.

God tells us that He has set life and blessing before you, and we are to choose life. He says that there is also death, and curses from satin before you, and that you must choose God or satin. If you choose life then you will walk in wellness, and communion with God and Jesus our Lord. But, if you choose negativity, which is always of satin, then you will be subject to death, and it's curses.

Brothers, do not choose wrongly. Just as God created Adam, and man kind, and gave them the requirement that they must choose good or evil. So to must we choose good or evil. Allow me now to explain to you how our bodies are designed to function in communication with God and Jesus our Lord.

We all will have a toxic thought each and every day. It is up to us to either accept it or to reject it entirely. In order to live a toxic free life we must:

It is up to us, it is our choice. We must admit that negative toxic thoughts do exist. Then we must quit accepting these negative toxic thoughts into our mind. By admitting, and quitting we will beat the toxic results of accepting them into our lives. If we are aware that they exist, and know when they come against us, then we can choose correctly by accepting only good thoughts and rejecting bad thoughts.

Studies have shown that 75 to 98 percent of Illness, and sickness are based on, and routed in our negative thoughts. Admit it, quit it, and beat it.

Our fleshly brain controls every cell in our body. But, our mind controls the brain which controls the body. We are designed by God to function in the following way.

  • The  HOLY SPIRIT of GOD dwelling  inside you.
  • God communicates to your spirit man that God designed in each of us.
  • Our spirit mind communicates to our fleshly brain and our fleshly brain communicates to our fleshly body.

So it is the Holy Spirit, our spirit, our spirit mind, our fleshly brain, our fleshly body. Do you see the importance of your mind being renewed. When the above chain is unbroken we not only live in good spiritual health, but also good physical health. The condition of the two can not be separated. If your body is sick then so to is your spirit. Our spirit mind is the deciding factor to both our spiritual growth and maturity, but also our physical good health.

Brothers, don't accept the negative thoughts of this world, but rather learn to recognize them as negative, and toxic to our bodies, and then discard them into the trash bin where they belong.

Our spirit mind is the bridge that joins our physical body, and our spiritual body to God the Father. We are told in His Holy Word that we have the mind of Christ. We do indeed have his mind in us when we receive his love for us by the renewing of our minds. Christ Jesus is Love, and we are Christ like here on earth when we live each day with a renewed mind.

Brothers you have two bodies. You have a physical body that everyone sees each day that you live. But, you also have a spirit body, the new creature that God made to live inside each of us when we accepted Jesus as our Lord and Savior.

This will take time to learn how to apply to your daily walk. But, after a few days of practicing to weed out the toxic negative thoughts, and only keep the positive good thoughts, it will become almost automatic for you.

The experts say that it takes 21 days to change your brains learned patterns of behavior. But, they also say that after the 4th day every day gets easier, the fleshly brain begins to respond to the renewing efforts of the spirit mind. When your mind is renewed, and stays renewed as God intended then you will walk in communion with God, and Jesus by the full guidance of God's very own Holy Spirit which lives inside each of us.

God Bless you my brothers, please go about renewing your mind for God's work.
