Psalm Chapter 1 (KJV)

1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

Brothers, this verse above does not say that we should not walk with the ungodly. It does not say that we should not stand with sinners, nor does it say that we should not be a witness to the scornful.

Please see that we are not to walk in the council of the ungodly, not that we are not to walk with them. For Jesus and his disciples did always walk with the ungodly, thereby He was able to minister the truth of Gods holy word to them.

Brothers, we are not to take council from the ungodly. This means especially that we are not to take their advise as to how you and I, who are born again children of God, are not to be shown by them how that we are to live our lives.

Do not seek their advise, but rather minister to them as you walk with them.

The second part of the above verse does not say that we are not to be seen with sinners. But, rather we are not to stand meaning to stay with them twenty four hours a day.

We should be seen with sinners just as Jesus was. He would be seen with them while he was teaching them, and then he would withdraw from them, and pray, and seek council from His Heavenly Father. Just as we should do after standing, and teaching the lost of this world.

Brothers, the third part of this verse does not say that we are not to minister to even the scornful of this world.

Those who speak and act ungodly toward their fellow man needs our teaching, and our ministering.
The verse says that we are not to take seat with them. If you and I enter into a place, and take a seat then we are going to be there for a great while usually.
But, just as the other verses say we are not to spend great amounts of time with them.
But, rather we are to stand and minister to them, and then remove ourselves from their presence to pray both for them, and to pray for our strength, and our power from God.
That he would give us His wisdom, his knowledge, and our understanding that he has promised to each of us his children.
God is faithful to do as he has promised for He can not lie.
If we do the above three things then God has promised once again that He will BLESS each of us. Blessings from God is what we will receive by being obedient to his Holy Word.

God bless you my brothers, and stay strong in the Lord.
