Colossians Chapter 1:

3We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,

4Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have to all the saints,

Note here that Jesus' disciples had herd of both their faith in Christ Jesus as well as their love that they had for all of the saints.

It is not being said here that they had love for those who lived in Colose and worshiped with them in their sanctuary. No! These people loved ALL of the saints who served Jesus our Lord and Savior.

Brothers, we are to learn from this teaching. We must also love ALL of our brothers in Christ Jesus in this day.
Your brothers lift up Jesus Christ as the only way to eternal life in heaven.

Please don't get hung up on their man made religious doctrine being different than that denomination that you worship with. I am not saying that there are those who think that you can get to heaven in other ways. This is just not the case. Jesus who died for our sins is the only way for us to get to heaven. There are many denominations who know this truth, but they have allowed man made religious doctrine to separate us.

Do not allow this separation to continue. Once again I am saying to you that the requirement for being a brother to you is this.

Jesus was and is the only begotten Son of God. He was born a man here on this earth. His word was inspired of God and recorded in the Holy Bible. He who knew no sin took on the sins of this world. He suffered both before and on the cross in which he was crucified and died for our sins. He was buried and rose on the third day giving us victory over the death of this world. He ascended unto heaven and now sits at the right hand of God the Father and does intercede to the Father on our behalf in this hour.

5For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;

6Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth:

See here in verse 5 above that our hope is in heaven. We are told here that our hope is laid up for us. This means that no one can take that hope from you as a born again child of God. This verse goes on to say that we heard this truth from the gospel. Praise God! Yes we did.

This truth has come unto you, and brings forth fruit in all of the world as it has, and does also in you since the day that you first heard the gospel and knew God's grace for you.

7As ye also learned of Epaphras our dear fellowservant, who is for you a faithful minister of Christ;

8Who also declared unto us your love in the Spirit.

Their minister had also declared unto the disciples the love that his flock had for their brothers in Christ Jesus.
I pray for the day when our pastors will both encourage, and acknowledge our love for the brothers who worship down the road in a different denomination. Please join me in this prayer each day.

Please allow me to highlight several key words in the scriptures below that you may both grasp the word now, and be able to refer back to these words in your future studies.

9For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his willin all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

10That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

11Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

12Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

13Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

Brothers, please walk in the truth of these ten verses of Colossians Chapter 1. I will continue teaching from this chapter as the Spirit leads me.

God bless you my brothers.
