CHRISTIANS ARE VICTORIOUS

1 Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;

Brothers, we all have a ministry. We have been chosen by God to not only be a living example of Christ, but also to minister the gospel to all by both our words and actions. We have obtained mercy and are not to faint, rather we are to continue our Christian walk day after day here on this earth.

2 But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.

We walk each hour of every day in the sight of God.

3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Brothers, please recall from the word of God, that the holy Spirit brings conviction to all who are lost in their sins. Just as he did to you and I when we to were lost.

The god of this world is satin, (small g in god is Satin the god of this world, not our God which is always capitalized). Satin has blinded the lost of this world. (Go back now and reread verse four above).

5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.

6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

7But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

Brothers, God's light now shines in the hearts of all who know Jesus as our Lord and Savour. We are Jesus' servants on this earth.

We who are saved have a treasure in our earthen bodies in that the knowledge of God' glory is alive in each of us Christians. Both Jesus, and God the Father are glorified when we walk, talk, and act Christ like.

8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we areperplexed, but not in despair;

9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;

Praise God!!! Do you see that we as Christians who know Jesus will at times be troubled on every side, yet we will not be worried.

We will at times be perplexed (not understanding why this or that has happened in our lives, but we will not be in despair) because Jesus also suffered these things in his life, so to will we.

But, Jesus was not distressed, not perplexed, neither was he ever forsaken nor destroyed.

Neither can anything that comes into our lives have any affect on us. Just as it did not Jesus.

10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.

Please recall that the gospel tells us that we will be crucified daily just as Jesus was crucified for us, so to will we be crucified for him.

But, we will overcome all things just as Jesus overcame death itself for us. We as Christians will not know the extent of pain and suffering that Jesus knew, but we will overcome all things of this earth that will come into our lives. We are over comers just as Jesus was. PRAISE GOD!!!

11 For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.

12 So then death worketh in us, but life in you.

13 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;

14 Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.

15 For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.

16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen aretemporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

My brothers please go through this life being thankful for what Jesus has done for us. Because of him we will never know death. You and I will live forever.

God bless you my brothers in Christ Jesus.
