FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD
Brothers, just as the above picture illustrates. We are the branch that has been grafted into the very linage of Jesus.
The branches bare the fruit. We are to do the work of bearing fruit my friends.

JAMES Chapter 2

26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

Brothers, please follow alone as we discover the truth of the above verse that has been given to those of us who know Jesus as our Lord and Savour.
I will be teaching from most of this short book of James chapter 2.
However, I will teach this in a non chronological order as the Holy Spirit has directed me to do.

18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?
22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?
23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.
24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.

Brothers, just as Abraham's was justified by his faith in our God, so to was he justified and made righteous in God's eyes by his works.
Please see here that it was not faith alone. It was not works alone. But, rather he was made righteous by both faith and works.
One without the other is dead. You will not be accounted righteous before God without living in both Faith and Works.

12 So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.
13 For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.
Brothers our work shows God that we have mercy. He was merciful to forgive us, and we will be forgiven by the merciful work that we do
unto others.
14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?
15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,
16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?
17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
If our works are done for the sake of being seen by our brothers, then our works are also dead just as our faith is by doing no works.

God loved us when we were lost in our sins. Jesus came that we might be forgiven of our sin if only we would believe upon Him.
Praise God for our Lord and Savour Christ Jesus.
If we know Jesus by our faith, we must also have works. Jesus' works are well known. He never ceased from doing God's work here on earth.
Neither should we cease from doing our works for the sake of Jesus Christ. Faith and Works.

My brothers we must do what we speak. (Don't just say that we have faith, but rather show others our faith by acting upon that faith as we do the works). Do what you speak. Our faith will be seen by both God and man by doing the work.

1 My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons.
2 For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment;
3 And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool:
4 Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts?

Brothers, what we speak has consequences, just as our faith without works has consequences. Don't do works that are not godly. But, rather pray and seek God's assignment for your life. The Holy Spirit of God himself has come to you to help, to teach, to guide, to comfort, to give your strength, and to deliver all truth unto you.
You will be shown what work that you are to do. But, you are to do it joyfully without holding back your true desire to love your neighbor, your brother, and the lost just as God has loved you.

God bless you my brothers in Christ Jesus.
