Brothers, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, but rather fear Him who after he has killed has the power to cast into hell. Fear God, not man.

Luke 12:1 In the mean time, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, he began to say unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.

Luke 12:2 For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.

Luke 12:3 Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.

Luke 12:4 And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.

Luke 12:5 But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

Luke 12:8 Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God:

Luke 12:9 But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.

Luke 12:10 And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven.

Luke 12:11 And when they bring you unto the synagogues, and unto magistrates, and powers, take ye no thought how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say:

Luke 12:12 For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say.

Brothers, Jesus is teaching his disciples, and the multitude that is gathered. He says that there in nothing hidden that shall not be revealed, and known. He tells us here that we are not to fear men who may kill us, but rather we are to fear God who can both kill, and condemn unto hell for all eternity.

What we speak shall be known brothers. If we confess Jesus before men then Jesus will confess us before the angels of God. But, if we deny Him then He will deny us before the angels of God. Jesus tells us that we are to give no thought as to what we will say when man will bring us to be judged before earthly men. He says that when that hour comes he will give to us what we are to answer.

Brothers, on February 15th the news media showed 21 Egyptian men, who were Christians, lined up to be beheaded by the group known as ISIS. This group has beheaded others before at various times. They have killed many Christians before, but this is the first time that the news media has acknowledged, and shown Christians lined up to be beheaded, by this ungodly group known as ISIS, just because they were Christians. We know that these brave Egyptian men did not denounce Jesus Christ or God the Father. But, rather these men stood strong proclaiming their faith unto death. Jesus tells us in the above verses of Luke chapter 12 that He Jesus will confess these brave men before the angels of God. The Word of God tells each of us, who are Christians, that to be absent from this life is to be present with God. Amen, and Praise God!

Please put yourself in the place of these 21 brave men. How would you fare when put in this situation. I hope that all of you would stand on the truth that Jesus Christ is the living Son of God and that there is no other God, only God the Father the creator of us all. We Christians may indeed be put in this situation one day soon if Jesus does not appear first. When that day comes please know that your words and actions will be known by God. There will be nothing hidden that shall not be known, and all things shall be revealed. Hypocrites will be revealed. We will answer to God for our actions, and He will reward us accordingly.

God Bless you my brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus.
