Ephesians 4:23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

Ephesians 4:24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Ephesians 4:25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.

Ephesians 4:26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

Ephesians 4:27 Neither give place to the devil.

Ephesians 4:28 Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.

Ephesians 4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Ephesians 4:31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:

Ephesians 4:32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

Brothers, we are to forgive one another, even as God for Christ's sake has forgiven you. God forgives us of our sins, our wrongs, yes even our anger. But, because God forgives us, he expects us to forgive each other.

Paul tells us here that we are to put off (to stop) being the old man that we were before Jesus came into our lives. But, rather we are to be have our minds renewed in the spirit. Our minds are renewed by reading and keeping the Word of God in our mouths. The new man of righteousness and true holiness is to be who we are and how we act. Verses 22-24 above.

Verse 25-26 tells us that we will be angry, but that we are not to sin in that anger, that we are not to let the sun go down on our anger. We are to confess that anger to God, forgive our enemy's, and forget it just as God has forgiven and forgotten our sins and iniquities.

We are to work with our hands so that we may have to do good to those around us who are in need. Speak good things that it may edify (lift up) those who hear the words of our mouths. Speak good not evil things, for evil spoken words gives way to the devil to come into your lives.

Verses 31 and 32 above says it all. Reread these and take to heart the truth of God's Holy Word.

God Bless you my brothers,
