Brothers, please allow me to teach how that you may grow your faith.
After all we are to grow in our faith each and every day after we accept Jesus into our lives. God's word tells us that we are but babes in need of the true milk of His Holy Word.
Only by continuing to grow in our faith are we able to eat the meat of the complete truth of the gospel. We must be fed on Gods holy word.

Please see a baby as he grows first on milk. Then he begins to eat soft solid food such as vegetables in only a thickened form. Then whole soft vegetables, and after time is he able to eat a vegetable that resembles a whole fruit, if you will.

Now after some time the baby is able to began to eat meat, and solid food.
Brothers, you must grow in God's word, before that you can receive into your spirit the total and complete truth of His holy word.

Please see that we grow into a mature Christian just as a baby grows into first a young child, then into an older child, but still they are seen as a child.

Then after time he or she becomes a young adult. After even more time passes we are considered an adult. But, more time must still pass before that we are a mature adult.

A mature Christian is our goal as we grow in God's word.

Brothers, follow me if you will now as we are shown here in the 11th Chapter of Mark how to reach our goal of becoming a mature Christian.

1 And when they came nigh to Jerusalem, unto Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount of Olives, he sendeth forth two of his disciples,
2 And saith unto them, Go your way into the village over against you: and as soon as ye be entered into it, ye shall find a colt tied, whereon never man sat; loose him, and bring him.
3 And if any man say unto you, Why do ye this? say ye that the Lord hath need of him; and straightway he will send him hither.
4 And they went their way, and found the colt tied by the door without in a place where two ways met; and they loose him.
5 And certain of them that stood there said unto them, What do ye, loosing the colt?
6 And they said unto them even as Jesus had commanded: and they let them go.
7 And they brought the colt to Jesus, and cast their garments on him; and he sat upon him.
8 And many spread their garments in the way: and others cut down branches off the trees, and strawed them in the way.
9 And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna; Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord:
10 Blessed be the kingdom of our father David, that cometh in the name of the Lord: Hosanna in the highest.

Brothers, do you see that some of the people of this day knew that Jesus was at least a prophet. They did not know yet that He was the Son of God. But, some still held him in very high reguard.

11 And Jesus entered into Jerusalem, and into the temple: and when he had looked round about upon all things, and now the eventide was come, he went out unto Bethany with the twelve.

Make a mental note here that on the first visit to the temple Jesus only walked around inside the temple seeing, and making note of what was being done.

12 And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry:
13 And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet.
14 And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it.
15 And they come to Jerusalem: and Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves;
16 And would not suffer that any man should carry any vessel through the temple.
17 And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves.

Brothers, please see that Jesus was and is long suffering as He waits for both the lost to be saved, and for young Christians to become mature.
He gives us ample time to come to maturity, where that we may grow in our faith into a mature Christian.

Just as Jesus was hungry, and looked forward to eating from the fig tree which stood off in the distance as He and his disciples walked toward Jerusalem.
His patience wore thin when he found no fruit upon the fig tree. He cursed the tree and declared that this tree would never again bear fruit forever.

Do you see here that we as children of God are expected to grow to the point of bearing fruit. We can not bear fruit unless we grow into a mature Christian.

But, we must know by this example given us of the fig tree that there will come a day when you will be cut off from his many blessings if you do not grow in your faith.

We must busy our selves every day to grow in the truth of Gods word into a mature Christian. Only when we have realized this growth can we bear fruit in our service to Jesus our Lord and Savior.

Jesus threw the moneychangers out of His Holy Temple. He gave them no warning the previous day of what was to come. No, He only walked around in the temple and looked upon what was being done.

But, on the second day he threw the money changers out of the temple. He overturned their tables which held their goods that were being both bought and sold.

Know by this example brothers, that his patiently waiting on us to become a mature Christian, will one day run out, and when it does we will not be given a warning.

But, also note that it appears that only the money changers were thrown out. Because others, who were seeking to buy goods from the money changers were left behind, and Jesus ministered to them.

Brothers do you see that you will be given time to both hear the truth of God's word, and to grow in that truth. But if you do not grow then you are in danger of losing your God given blessing of going about completing your assignment that God gave you.

If you do not grow into a mature Christian, who can bear fruit, then God will step in, and minister to those who he gave unto you.

18 And the scribes and chief priests heard it, and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him, because all the people was astonished at his doctrine.
19 And when even was come, he went out of the city.
20 And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.
21 And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away.

Brothers, Jesus' disciples had saw him perform many miracles, but they always were amazed when he performed the next one.

Why is that?

It is because that even though they had left their homes, and families to follow Jesus they still did not know him as the Son of God. They had not yet come to know him as Lord and Savior of all man kind. Nor had Jesus died for their sins, nor had He been resurrected from the dead.

Now my brothers read the following five verses of scripture, and even though you may have read it or heard it preached a dozen times before please see it now for the very first time.

There are many scriptures on faith throughout the bible, but this one will tell you like no other that we must use our faith each, and every day as we grow into maturity, and then as we walk in that maturity, we must continue always to feed upon the truth of this lesson from Jesus himself.

22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

Brothers, look at the last statement made by Jesus in verse 22 above.
Have faith in God.
We must first and foremost believe God. We must as His children believe what he says to us.
He did not say some of us, but rather he said that ALL who believed God would have whatsoever they believed God for.

Please don't be one of those Christians who believe that it must not be God's will for you to be healed or to have this or that thing happen in your life just because it did not happen as soon as you prayed to God to be healed, or for any other thing that you have need of.

Jesus will not come back, and die once again for you to be saved, and nether will He bare the stripes for your healing.

Everything that Jesus needed to do for our salvation, and healing has already been done. It is our faith that is lacking, and not Jesus' actions.

Just as he has waited on you for so very long. First to become a Christian, and then for you to grow into maturity. You must wait on him with that same patience that He has shown you. But, all the while we must have FAITH in God's holy word.

Do you see that having faith in God is different than knowing God. We may have known God for most of our lives. But, have you had faith in Him?

Brothers, it is by faith that we were saved when the Holy Spirit of God came upon you, and I, and convicted you of your sins. From that time forward He has an expectation of us to walk by faith through this life.

Not by the sight of our physical bodies. But, rather by faith in God the Father, and Jesus who is our Lord and Savior.

I love verse 23.

23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

It says that when we tell the mountain that is in our life to go, and be cast into the sea. If we do not doubt in our heart, and believe that what we say shall come to pass then we shall have what so ever we say.

Brothers, please see here that we must speak that mountain out of our lives, and then we must believe in our hearts that those things that we spoke has happened.

We must see that mountain being picked up and cast into the sea.

I like to not only see it falling into the sea, but also seeing it sinking lower and lower until it reaches the bottom of the ocean, and then the ground opening up, and swallowing the mountain completely, and then closing with the mountain now buried under the deepest part of the sea.

Brothers see your mountain being both cast into the sea, and buried underneath the sea never again to come into your life.

If the mountain ever again tries to make an appearance then say to it. You now live under the ocean floor, and are buried there for ever and ever.

Satin you are a liar and the truth is not in you just as my heavenly Father said of you. Don't ever try to bring this unto me again because I will  not receive it.

Brothers, verses 22-25 can not be separated. They are all part of our lesson.

1. First forgive.
2.Then pray.
3. Then believe in your heart that you receive.
4. Then get up and walk in the knowledge that your prayers have been answered.
5. Don't doubt when satin tells you that you don't have what you prayed for.
6. Rebuke satin, and tell him that Jesus told you that it was yours, and it is.

Verse 24. We speak, and we believe, and then we have them.
Verse 25. When we pray we must forgive everyone who has ever hurt and trespassed against us.

Please note here that just as we must believe God in our hearts. We must also forgive others in our hearts.

Brothers, satin comes to kill, still, and destroy.

If you receive his lie when he says to you. "You did not forgive that person." Then you are allowing satin to still that forgiveness from you. In this way satin will destroy any, and all maturity that you have, and you will transgress back to being a babe in Christ.

Don't believe him. Remember that,

Forgive, and then walk in that forgiveness forever. Pray for, and believe for your needs, and you shall have them.

But remember that forgiveness comes first.
Forgive and then pray, and then believe, and then walk in that belief.

This is maturity my friends. Maturity in God's Holy Word. Maturity in the gospel of Jesus himself. We now walk in the truth of God's word. We first speak the word of God, and then we walk in that truth.

Do not let satin pull you back into the world. Stand on God's holy word, and walk by faith.

Brothers, just as you were not born into this physical world a mature adult neither are you born again a child of God as a mature Christian. Each and every time that we receive his word into our lives we grow in that word. We grow in that truth, and we will become a mature Christian over time, but we must believe His promises. Then and only then can we serve the Lord our God with truthfulness. The truth of His Holy Word.
27 And they come again to Jerusalem: and as he was walking in the temple, there come to him the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders,

"WATCH OUT," here comes some very religious men. Just as they judged Jesus they will judge you in this day.

Brothers, stop now, and ask God to give to you the gift of discernment. This will allow the Holy Spirit to show you when religious men of this day are following the religious tradition of their fathers.

These may be well meaning men and women, but they have believed a lie, and now they are being deceived by satin, and if you allow them to they will assist satin in robbing you of your maturity in Christ Jesus.

Remember satin comes to KILL, STEAL, and DISTROY!

1. He will attempt to steal the truth of God's word.
2. He will destroy your spiritual growth.
3. He will kill your spirit man so  that you will believe a lie.

But, he can do nothing that you don't allow him to do. Jesus took ALL authority and power from satin when He died and rose again for you and I. Victory is ours.

28 And say unto him, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority to do these things?
29And Jesus answered and said unto them, I will also ask of you one question, and answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things.
30 The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or of men? answer me.
31 And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then did ye not believe him?
32 But if we shall say, Of men; they feared the people: for all men counted John, that he was a prophet indeed.
33 And they answered and said unto Jesus, We cannot tell. And Jesus answering saith unto them, Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.

Brothers, Jesus' authority is our authority.

Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Start doing, and keep doing. Don't let satin stop you from believing, and don't let well intentioned, but misguided men, or family, or friends, stop you from growing in the truth of God's word.

God bless you my brothers. Please grow into a mature servant of the Lord our God.
May he say to you when you appear before Him in heaven.
