Brothers, Jesus carries us each day!

JESUS EXPECTS US TO BE AS ONE

My brothers, the Holy Spirit leads me to speak to you the assignment which was given to me in the beginning of this ministry. My assignment was to teach oneness in our love for our brothers in Christ Jesus. United as one with no divisions among us. God's word tells us that we are not to let man divide, or separate us in our love for the Father, and the Son.

Please see that the devil is the one who seeks to divide the Church. He has had success at this by using men who do not follow the Truth of God's Word. But rather follows man made doctrine, and religious tradition which is not of God. God did not ordain division.

Do you remember that is was religious men at the time, who insisted that Jesus be put to death. Pilate could find no fault in Jesus. But it was a day in which it was allowed that one who was sentenced to death could be exchanged for another who Jewish leaders believed to be worse.

It was decided by religious leaders that Barnabas a murderer, and a thief, a sorely wicked man who all Jerusalem knew him to be. But, they desired that he be spared, and that Jesus be put to death in his place. These were the most devout men of God of all the Jews. They judged Jesus to be the biggest threat to their religious walk with God.

Brothers if you are bold enough to walk in unity with all believers in Jesus Christ. Then do not be surprised when the religious men, and some brothers speak evil of you. They may not require that you be put to death as Jesus was. But, some will come at you bringing self condemnation. They will surely say that those who know Jesus as Lord as Savior in another religious denomination are wrong, and even lost, because they have there own religious traditions that they follow which is different from them.

Jesus prayed in the last twelve to fifteen verses of John chapter 17 that we would be as one. Just as Jesus, and the Father were one. Brothers can you look around, and see total oneness in the Body of Christ in this day. No you can not. You may know of a few people who accept someone from another denomination. But, do they believe that they are walking in righteousness. If you question them they will probably start naming the things that they believe which are judged to be wrong in the eyes of their denomination.

This division is wrong in Gods mind, and stated clearly in His Holy Word the Bible.

Please follow me now as I show you this truth of God's Word.

1 Corinthians 1:10 ESV  I appeal to you, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same judgment.

Philippians 2:2  Complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind.

1 Peter 3:8  Finally, all of you, have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind.

Colossians 3:14  And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.

2 Corinthians 13:11  Finally, brothers, rejoice. Aim for restoration, comfort one another, agree with one another, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.

Romans 15:6  That together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 4:1-6   I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call— one Lord, one faith, one baptism, ...

Romans 12:4-5  For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.

Philippians 1:27  Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the gospel,

Psalm 133:1  A Song of Ascents. Of David. Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity!

Romans 14:19  So then let us pursue what makes for peace and for mutual upbuilding.

Romans 12:16  Live in harmony with one another. Do not be haughty,....

Romans 15:5-7  May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus, that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.

Do you now see that we are not to let anyone or anything separate us from one another. If you are separated from your brother then repent now, and turn back to Jesus' teaching.

We are to be one as Jesus and God the Father are one. We are the body of Christ, and all have been given an assignment. Jesus is the head, and the body is made up of many members.

Each member does a different assignment, but they are one body, and must function as one body never to be divided.

Brothers, I say once more.

DO NOT ALLOW ANYONE OR ANYTHING TO DIVIDE YOU FROM YOUR BROTHER.

Once more I will tell you who the Bible says is your brother.

          1. He lifts up Jesus as the only begotten Son of God.
          2. He professes that Jesus came in the flesh, and lived as a man.
          3. He knows that there is no way to Heaven, and eternal life, but that you believe on Him.
          4. He knows that Jesus suffered, and died on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins.
          5. That Jesus was buried, and on the third day did arise giving us victory over death.
          6. That Jesus now lives, and sets at God's right hand, and will soon call us home.

This my friend is your brother in Christ Jesus. This is a fellow member of the body of Christ. This person has an assignment from God as do we all. It may differ from yours, but because he worships God in his way does not mean that he is lost. If this person believes the above six truths of God's Word then he is your brother.

Do not allow division of the body of Christ Jesus. All who believe make up His body, the Church, of which we are members one and all.

God Bless you my brothers,

John Hipp
