1 Corinthians 13:1-13  If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing. Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; .

Brothers, we are to put aside all envy and boasting, and don't be arrogant or rude. Do not insist on your own way, and don't be resentful or irritable, for these actions are not done in love. You gain nothing of God, if you don't have love.

Matthew 22:37-40  And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.”

Mark 12:30-31 “Which commandment is the most important of all?”Jesus answered, “The most important is, ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”

Brothers, we are told by Jesus in Matthew 22, and Mark12 above what we are to do in love. He says that there are no greater commandments than these. Love is who Jesus was and is who we are to be if we are walking Christ like. He tells us that we will gain nothing of God if we have not love. 1st Corinthians 13.

1 John 4:11  Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

1 John 5:2   By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and obey his commandments.

By loving one another we follow God's example of loving us so much that he gave his own Son for us, and Jesus gave himself out of his love for us. We know that we are the children of God when we love the Lord our God and one another as God has commanded.

1 John 5:3  For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome.

This commandment of loving one another as we also love the Lord our God is not a burden to us, but is rather peace, joy, and happiness to our souls and bodies.

1 Corinthians 16:14  Let all that you do be done in love.
1 John 4:7  Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God.

It will be known that we are born of God when we love one another.
John 14:15  “If you love me, you will keep my commandments.

John 13:35  By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

1 John 4:19  We love because he first loved us.

Yes He first loved us. Keep His commandments to love.

1 Corinthians 13:13  So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Love is the greatest act that we can do as children of God.

Romans 13:10  Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
Romans 12:10  Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.

Love your neighbor, and do him no wrong. Who is your neighbor? Your neighbor is every human being on this earth.
John 15:13  Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.
John 13:34   A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.

Jesus laid down his life for us, He called us friend. We should be willing to give our lives for our brothers in Christ.
1 John 4:12   No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us.
1 John 3:11   For this is the message that you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
1 Peter 4:8 Above all, keep  loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins.

God tells us here that love covers a multitude of sin. He has also told us in his Holy Word that leading the lost to Christ will also cover a multitude of sin. Do you see that the two can not be separated. We lead the lost to Christ Jesus by living and walking in love.

God Bless you my brothers, walk and live in love for one another.
