     Hebrews 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

     Hebrews 2:15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

     Hebrews 2:16 For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.

     Hebrews 2:17 Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.

     Hebrews 2:18 For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.

     Jesus himself became human on this earth as we are, he became flesh and blood and took part in this life as God's children do today Vs 14. By his death Jesus destroyed the devil that had held the power of death over mankind since the fall of Adam and Eve.

     Man had all their lifetime been held in bondage through fear of death by the devil Vs 15. Jesus delivered us from this bondage by going to hell and defeating the devil and all of his demons. Jesus took the keys to death and hell from the devil that we would no longer fear, nor know death. Victory is ours brother. We are to have no fear of death for we will never know death. We have been made immortal by the blood of Jesus. Praise God. We are not in bondage!

     Jesus did not come to this earth as an angel or as God, but he came as the seed of Abraham.  He came as a man who said what God said, and did what God did. Jesus had no will except the will of his father. Not that he could not have had mans will but he choose to walk with God. To watch and listen to what he saw God do and what he heard God say. We are to walk Christ like by taking our hearing from heaven and listening to what God says for us to say and do. Brothers we too should walk with God every day as Jesus walked and not as the flesh wants us to walk. We should not walk as the lost world walks in flesh and in sin. Jesus made us the seed of Abraham by our salvation, by accepting him as our Lord and Savior. Vs 16.

     Even though we are tempted of the devil, we are secure in our salvation by the blood of Jesus Christ who died and yet lives for us. Never fall under self condemnation or the condemnation of others for this is the devils lies. Jesus sits at the right hand of God and delivers our prayers  and requests to God the Father personally. Vs 17-18.

     Philipians 2:9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

     Philipians 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

     Philipians 2:11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

     Brothers, the name of Jesus has been exalted above every name. At the name of Jesus every knee will bow, every being in heaven, every being in earth, and every being under the earth will one day very soon, bow to the name of Jesus. God said it, it will be.

     Philipians 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

     Philipians 2:14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings:

     Philipians 2:15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

     Philipians 2:16 Holding forth the word of life;

     God does the work in us both to his will and of his good pleasure. He makes us what he intended us to be, if only we will listen to him and be shown by him what he wants for us in this life. We have work to do. Brothers, let him do the work in us so that we can do His work that he designed us to do.

     Brothers, do that work that he gives you without murmuring (complaining), and without disputings (arguing with yourself or God). Just do it! By doing his work and his will we may be held blameless and harmless the sons of God without rebuke. This is a crooked and perverse world that we live in, but we are not of this world. In this world we are to shine as lights in the world just as Jesus did and was and is the light so too should we be.

     Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

     JESUS is the name of salvation.

     Ephesians 3:14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

     Ephesians 3:15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,

     Praise God!

     Philipians 2:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

     Philipians 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

     Brothers, we too are to humble ourselves as Jesus did, and become obedient unto death to God's will in our lives.

     Philipians 2:9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

     Philipians 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

     Philipians 2:11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

     2Corinthians 10:3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:

     2Corinthians 10:4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

     2Corinthians 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

     2Corinthians 10:6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience (of thought), when your obedience is fulfilled.

     Brothers, verses 3-6 above in 2 Corinthians tells us that we live in flesh and blood until Jesus appears, however we are not to war after the flesh. Jesus himself has given us mighty weapons through God that we should pull down strong holds by speaking and believing the Word Of God. Our weapons are not carnal (man made), but are mighty weapons of God. Here he tells us as children of God that the strong holds, are our minds, those things that we can imagine.

     We are to use these weapons,(which is the word of God) to tear down every imagination and high thought of our fleshly mind that would exalt itself above the knowledge of God. We are to take control over every carnal thought that would come against God's will for us in our lives and we are to be obedient to Christ.

     Philipians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

     Philipians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

     In everything pray your requests to God the Father and be thankful that Jesus will make known our prayers and requests to the Father.
     Philipians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

     Philipians 4:9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

     We are to do what Jesus did, say what Jesus said, believe what Jesus believed, and walk as Jesus walked. If we fail in this effort, we are to repent, get up and dust ourselves off, and keep walking. Brothers, the soon appearing of Jesus is at hand. Jesus himself said that we have no promise of tomorrow, we only have today. What will you say to God when you stand before him. What will be your excuse for not doing his will? Do you think starting to do God's will tomorrow will be ok? No it won't because we have only TODAY!

     John 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. (Jesus will reveal himself to you when his commandments live in you).

     Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

     Philipians 3:13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

     Philipians 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

     Philipians 3:15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.

     Philipians 3:16 Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.

     1Corinthians 15:57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

     2Corinthians 2:14 Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ,

     Hebrews 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

     Brothers, walk as Paul walked looking not behind but looking forward to the prize which is Christ Jesus. Praise God! Don't look back at your past for that is past and you can do nothing about the past. Look toward today, for today is the time that you have been given. Today is all that we have brothers.

     Love your brothers in Christ today. Do not allow anyone to put a stumbling block in your way, and keep you from loving them just because they worship in a different sanctuary than you do. Jesus himself commanded us to do this in John Chapter 17. Reread this chapter and see that there are to be no divisions among us his children. The devil has used Godly men to divide us for many many years. No More! Do not let any man made religious doctrine separate you from you fellow believer in Jesus Christ the Son of God.

God bless
