2Corinthians 4:1 Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;
Brothers, we all have a ministry, given by God. Because we have received mercy, we will be servants of Christ Jesus and we will faint not.
2Corinthians 4:2 But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.
All of these things we have renounced (turned away from), because of the manifestation of the truth which we teach to every man in the sight of God.
2Corinthians 4:3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
2Corinthians 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
Brothers, we are told once again that the lost have had their minds blinded by the god of this world, satin himself. Lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
2Corinthians 4:5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.
We are servants for Jesus' sake.
2Corinthians 4:6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
Brothers, we are to be the light that God has commanded to shine out of and into the darkness of this world. We are to give that light of knowledge to this lost world from God the Father, in and through Jesus Christ.
Luke 22:28 Ye are they which have continued with me in my temptations.
Luke 22:29 And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me;
Luke 22:30 That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
We are the disciples of Jesus Christ. We are to be in service to Him each day. He has appointed unto us a kingdom, just as God the Father appointed a kingdom unto Jesus. Today we can eat and drink at His table, from his Holy Word that we have, in our hearts and in our renewed minds. One day we will serve Jesus in a different way by ruling and reigning with him here on earth. But, today we are His servants bringing His light into the darkness of this lost world.
God Bless you my brothers,
