SPOKEN WORDS

1 James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.
2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
Brothers, we are to allow patients to have her perfect work in us. Patience will make us perfect and entire, wanting for nothing.
Wow! This is a blessed and big promise from God.
We all seek to want for nothing. If we only allow patience to work in us then we will not want for anything.
Brothers, for a lot of my life I was very impatient. People could have accused me of many things, but being patient was not one of my traits.
It took many years for me to learn this truth that is stated in the above verses.
Don't do as I did, but rather do as God's word says above. We are to count temptations as Joy for when we resist that temptation in any form, then we are growing in our faith. Growing in your faith is what you should be striving for as we walk through this life.

5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
9 Let the brother of low degree rejoice in that he is exalted:
Brothers if you like wisdom then you only need to ask God for his wisdom about whatever it is that you desire to learn and know.
Please see that it is not your wisdom, but rather God's wisdom which will be given you.
Also please note that God will not hold back (unbraideth) any wisdom that you desire.
No, on the contrary we are promised in verse 5 above that he will give us his wisdom liberally.
However we are not to waver, or doubt that we are receiving His wisdom. Please see here in the above verses that this is to be received by faith. Doubt is the opposite of faith. We are also to patiently wait for this wisdom. Add the seeking of any wisdom to your daily prayer life, and believe for that wisdom and patiently wait for it.
Do you see that these above verses are all about building your faith, and my faith as children of God.
Pray, believe, and receive.
Brothers we pray for our needs and desires, we then believe that we have them, and then we receive them. God is a God of choice. He have us a choice of being lost or being saved. It is all about our faith in God the Father and our Lord Jesus.
He tells us plainly in the above verses that if we waiver or doubt in our faith that we will receive nothing. He says that a double minded man in unstable in all of his ways. Brothers, doubting in your mind is double minded. If you profess to believe Christ Jesus our Lord then your should have no doubt. NO DOUBT.

10 But the rich, in that he is made low: because as the flower of the grass he shall pass away.
11 For the sun is no sooner risen with a burning heat, but it withereth the grass, and the flower thereof falleth, and the grace of the fashion of it perisheth: so also shall the rich man fade away in his ways.
12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:
14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
16 Do not err, my beloved brethren.
17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
18 Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
Praise God brothers. We are never tempted by God for he tempts no man.
We have faith and we are to always walk in out 100% faith. Please note that it is our faith not God's that saved us. Our faith in God the Father and our Lord Jesus has saved us. We are to no longer walk by our physical sight as the lost world does, but rather we are to walk in faith by our spiritual sight. We know God's word is true, and on His holy word we stand always. STAND ON HIS PROMISES.

19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:
20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.
21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
We must be swift to hear and slow to speak brothers. Being slow to speak is a requirement of us my brothers. We are not to speak out of wrath. Brothers, think before you speak, and then speak Godly words.
The engrafted word of God did save our souls, and then the meekness of Jesus himself has come to live in us. When we speak hurtful words of wrath we have sinned, and come short of God's righteousness.
We are to do God's word. We are to hear His word. For if we do not hear his word we can not do his work. Please ask the Holy Spirit of God to always teach you when you set down in a sanctuary, or when you go before God in prayer, and your daily bible study.

26 If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.
27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
Always take time out of your week to visit the fatherless and widows. Please see that the elderly are also fatherless and most are indeed widows.

God bless you my brothers in Christ Jesus.
