ARMOR OF GOD
Ephesians 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
Ephesians 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Put on the whole armor of God. Don't just put on one piece of the armor that God has given you, but put on all of His armor.
Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
It is not people in this world that we wrestle against, it is not flesh and blood that comes against us. It is rather against powers, principalities, and spiritual wickedness in high places.
Ephesians 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Brothers, we take God's armor and we can stand against the evil of this day.
Ephesians 6:14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
Ephesians 6:15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
Ephesians 6:16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
Ephesians 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
Ephesians 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
- TRUTH - Of God's Word
- RIGHTEOUSNESS - We are made righteous by Jesus
- THE PREPARATION OF THE GOSPEL OF PEACE - God's Holy Word is our gospel and we are given peace in his truth.
- FAITH - Our faith in Jesus Christ and God the Father
- SALVATION - We are forgiven of our sins
- WORD OF GOD - By every word of God we are delivered
- PRAYING ALWAYS IN THE SPIRIT FOR ALL SAINTS - Pray for your brothers in Christ Jesus every day through God's Holy Spirit who dwells in each of us.
My Brothers, we have to live on this earth until Jesus' soon appearing or until we are called home to be with the Lord. But, we are not of this world, nor or we subject to the curses of this world. For His Holy Word tells us this throughout the Bible. We are blessed not cursed. We are to keep on the whole armor of God and walk boldly through this life. We are victorious, for Jesus made us both righteous and victorious. Praise God!
God Bless you my brothers in Christ Jesus,
