Unity of our brothers is the assignment from God for Hipp Visual Ministries.
Jesus speaking, John 10:16 And other sheep I have which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice and there shall be one fold one shepherd.
1 (A Song of degrees of David.) Behold, how good and how
pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!
Brothers, please see here in the Psalms of David that he says, 'Behold how good it is for brethren to dwell together in unity.' Behold does in deed mean to see, but it also means to know. Brothers if we know anything we will not forget that thing. Behold, and thus know how very good it is for us who know Jesus as our Lord and Savior to be in unity with each other.
Do you also see here in verse one that it is not only good to see, and know our brothers, but also to dwell with them together in unity. Brothers 'dwell' means to live with them. If you live with them you will not be separated from them. You will be together as one in unity. Unity means united with them.
If we are united with our brothers we will not allow anything or anyone to come between us or to separate us from them.
2 It is
like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even
Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;
David goes on to explain that unity is like unto the precious ointment, (meaning the fresh oil that is kept for anointing a disciple of God).
Brothers, you and I are His disciples in this day. We are the anointed of God, and should be going about our designated service to our Heavenly Father and our Lord Jesus.
3 As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended
upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even
life for evermore.
Brothers, see here in verse three that when we are united with our brothers we know them, we dwell with them, we walk with them in our anointing, and we command the blessings of the Lord even eternal life.
This is how that you and I are to look at unity. Do not allow anyone or any thing to come between you, and your brothers in Christ Jesus.
Brothers you and I may be walking in unity with each other, but there are so many others who are not. We must exhort (speak) to these who are not in unity with us today. Jesus said it here in John ch. 3.
1st John 3:10-14 In this the children of God are manifest, and children of the devil; whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
3:11 For this is the message that ye heard form the beginning, that we should love one another.
3:12 Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother, And werefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.
3:13 Marvel not, by brethren, if the world hate you.
3:14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. KJV
28 - Hast thou not known: hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? There is no searching of his understanding.
29 - He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
30. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
31. But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Exhort our brothers and faint not, but rather pray for our strength, to continue in bringing unity to the body of Christ, the Church. This strength comes from God through his Holy Spirit who resides inside us.
Psalm 119:130 -- The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.
Brothers keep his words in your mouth and speak them to all who the Holy Spirit of God shows you who are not walking in unity today. Teach them in love and truth as Jesus taught and teaches those who are righteous. Jesus prayed to the Father in John Chapter 17 that we would be one as Jesus and God are one, that by us being one the would who is lost might believe upon Him.
All who lift up Jesus as the only begotten Son of God and by faith has accepted him as their Lord and Savior, and profess that Jesus did die for their sins are saved by his cleansing blood. Who profess that Jesus died on the cross for our sins, suffered and bore His stripes that we are healed, and know that He rose on the third day and now sits at the right hand of God, and will come to receive us unto him. These are our brothers in Christ
Jesus, regardless of what sanctuary they choose to worship in.
Stand with our brothers as we go about the harvest of this world. We have much work to do in this hour.
Thank you, and God bless,
