That Christ May Dwell In Your Hearts By Faith

Ephesians Ch. 4

14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,

16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;

17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,

18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;

19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

Brothers, our inner man is strengthened by God's own Spirit.

1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,

2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;

3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

There is one Spirit, and that is God's Spirit that lives inside each of us who have invited him to come, and dwell inside those of us who know Jesus as our Lord and Savior.

We are to walk worthy of our calling. God has called us into service to him. God lives inside us, and communicates to our spirit. He tells us, and shows us all things. We are to always be in service to God.

11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

Brothers, as children of God we are to be as one. We are to love our brothers in Christ as he has loved us. We are to come in the unity of our faith.

We are not to be as children tossed to and fro with every wind of doctrine, (verse 14 above) by the slight of men who lie in wait to deceive us.

Brothers we must unite into one body. Christ is the head, and we are the body of Christ. Do not allow men to deceive you of this truth. We as born again believers in Christ Jesus are to love and fellowship with one another.

Please go about completing your assignment. We all have been given an assignment by God the Father. Verse 16 tells us that we are to be fitly joined together, and every part of the body of Christ is to be increased to the edifying of itself in love.

23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.

29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying (lifting up), that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:

32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

God bless you my brothers in Christ Jesus.
