Philipians 3:11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.

Philipians 3:12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.

Philipians 3:13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

Philipians 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Brothers, here the Apostile Paul tells us that he does not say that he has attained perfectness, but even thou he has not apprehended it, he does seek after being perfect, as Christ was perfect.

We also are to seek to be perfect. He tells us in verse 13 above that this one thing he does is to not look back, at what he has done, but rather he looks forward to what is in front, to the prize of Jesus Christ. Brothers, we too are to look to what is ahead, not behind, as we try every day to walk Christ like as Jesus did.

Brothers, don't look back at where you came from. We have all sinned and fell short of the glory of God. But, we are forgiven by the blood of Jesus for those sins. Satin will try to make us remember our sins, that we might stay in defeat, without hope. But, Jesus has saved us from our past sins, praise God, and now we walk, looking forward not behind. He tells us in His Holy Word that we are made victorious, and are never defeated.

Just remember that when God forgave us of our sins he also said that He would remember them no more. 'WOW', what a statement, He both forgives and forgets. This is how we are to walk everyday. Forget your past, and forgive yourself as Jesus and God the Father have forgiven you. Do not continue to pray for what you have already been forgiven for. God will not know why you are doing this, because He does not remember your past wrongs and sins. It does not matter how great that sin was.

When we fall short of the perfectness of Christ Jesus we are to confess that sin to God each day. But, do it once and forget it, as God will forget. Don't keep calling it to memory. Confess it once and then praise God for his tender mercies and loving kindness. Thank him in praise. It is over brothers. Now forgive yourself as God has forgiven you.

So forgive yourself brothers, right now, if you have not already. When the devil would try to bring conviction upon you for that past sin. Say, "satin, the Word of God tells me that I was forgiven for that, and God's Word says that you are a liar and that there is no truth in you".
Praise God I am forgiven and I walk in that forgiveness. Thank you Jesus. Thank you God the Father.

God Bless you my brothers, you are victorious, you are forgiven when you accept that Jesus is your Lord and Savour. He and He alone is the way to eternal life, and our home in Heaven!

Now my brothers, go and soar like the eagle!
