1Thessalonians 2:1 For yourselves, brethren, know our entrance in unto you, that it was not in vain:
1Thessalonians 2:2 But even after that we had suffered before, and were shamefully entreated, as ye know, at Philippi, we were bold in our God to speak unto you the gospel of God with much contention.
1Thessalonians 2:3 For our exhortation was not of deceit, nor of uncleanness, nor in guile:
1Thessalonians 2:4 But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts.

My Brothers in our Lord Jesus Christ, I am troubled in that we set ideally by, in this corrupt and evil hour. Do we speak the truth of the word of God to this lost and dying world. Sure, we tell the members of our house how that the world is so evil and wicked, and perhaps even our close friends, and a neighbor or two. But, I dare say that not many of my brothers in Christ Jesus speak boldly on the street corners, of God's gospel, and his grace.

I say that too many of us speak rather to pleasing men, and not God. Why when we know the grace of God by faith, do we not cease to  care what men think. By Christians standing ideally by, we stand in agreement with the wickedness of the worlds actions. Our silence, only serves their evil agenda. By not speaking boldly the word of God in His truth, we are providing help to the evil doers of this lost world. Do you understand that by not speaking boldly unto the world, we are helpers in their deceit of this lost and dying world.

Just as Jesus' disciples spoke boldly, not only to the lost, but also to the religious leaders who where both wrong, and corrupt in their teachings of that day. It is us brothers, the children of God who are charged with correcting even our religious leaders when they do err in their teachings. Or in the err of their not voicing the truth of God's Holy Word. These leaders are to speak boldly to the lost citizens of their community, and also, maybe even especially to, their elected leaders who go about passing immoral, and corrupt laws, and doctrines both in their own countries, and in their own religious sect.

Return now to the top of this page, and reread the first four verses of the book of 1st Thessalonians.

Do you see your self standing with God's disciples, by speaking boldly. Or, are you standing with those that His disciples are preaching too. 1Thessalonians 2:4 But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts.

Brothers, no where in the Bible can you find a verse telling us that we as Christians are to please men. God has indeed put His trust in us, His children, with the gospel, and we are required, just as the disciples were to speak, not as pleasing men, but God. God will try our hearts to see if we will speak the truth boldly.

The disciples spoke boldly once they had waited in Jerusalem for the Holy Spirit of God to come upon them. They were all put to death for doing so. But, they did it anyway. Will you as a born again child of the living God, stand and speak boldly in this hour. It matters not if man set and judge you for your service to your God. No, it only matters to God, when you stand before Him one day very soon.

When God asks you why you did not speak with boldness His Holy Word while you were here on earth, do you believe that he will accept your lame excuses? I can tell you that He will accept no excuse. His word tells us that there shall be those in that day which shall bear many stripes. I believe that not speaking boldly of His Holy Word, will be one of those reasons for bearing many stripes when you stand before Him.

1Thessalonians 2:5 For neither at any time used we flattering words, as ye know, nor a cloke of covetousness; God is witness:
1Thessalonians 2:6 Nor of men sought we glory, neither of you, nor yet of others, when we might have been burdensome, as the apostles of Christ.
1Thessalonians 2:7 But we were gentle among you, even as a nurse cherisheth her children:
1Thessalonians 2:8 So being affectionately desirous of you, we were willing to have imparted unto you, not the gospel of God only, but also our own souls, because ye were dear unto us.

We must speak boldly in this hour brothers, not for the gospel of God only, but also for our own souls.
Brothers, do not seek glory of men with flattering words, but rather be a witness in the truest since of witnessing the truth of Jesus Christ, to all whom you come in contact with. This is what we as Christians are required of God to do. This is not an option for those who walk Christ like in this day, but rather it is required of us His children.

1Thessalonians 2:9 For ye remember, brethren, our labour and travail: for labouring night and day, because we would not be chargeable unto any of you, we preached unto you the gospel of God.
1Thessalonians 2:10 Ye are witnesses, and God also, how holily and justly and unblameably we behaved ourselves among you that believe:
1Thessalonians 2:11 As ye know how we exhorted, and comforted and charged every one of you, as a father doth his children,
1Thessalonians 2:12 That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory.

Brothers, we have been called unto God's kingdom and His glory. So, please go about doing what we are required of Him to do.

God Bless you my brothers in Christ Jesus. May God be with you in this day. It is the Lord Jesus who will go before you, as you serve Him, and the Father in these last hours. His Word tells us that the Lord will stand steadfastly in his love for you. It also says, that the hand of the Lord will go before you. He will clear your way, and provide those men and women, whom you are to speak to the truth of His gospel.

I now speak a word for the people here in America. The Christians in this country have allowed their elected political officials to take God, and the very name of Jesus, out of our national, state, and local government buildings. God has been removed from our schools, and our children are not allowed to speak his name in their respective schools, and on, and on, and on.

You stand silently by, and will not speak against them. You are afraid of being told that you are not POLITICALLY CORRECT. I do say this to you, that being politically correct is aligning yourselves with the devil himself. Stop being charged with this evil agenda brought unto you by satin' POLITICAL CORRECTNESS machine. It is perhaps his greatest tool to use against God's Church in this hour. Turn from being judged by him and his evil doers!

Go about being bold for our God, and having the kind of boldness that His disciples had in their day.
Go about doing his work!
