ARM YOUR SELF

ARM YOUR SELF

1ST PETER 4:1

1 Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;

Brothers, please allow me to teach you a lesson on the mind of Christ Jesus.

We who know Jesus as our Lord and Savior are to try each and every day to be like him, and to love as he loved. Jesus suffered in the flesh for you and I. His suffering unto death did free us from sin.

Brothers, please see here in verse 1 that you and I have ceased from sin. We are to walk no more as we walked when we were yet unsaved. We have been delivered from sin because of Jesus' suffering, death, and resurrection. His suffering in the flesh has freed you and I.

Arm yourself with the same mind of Christ Jesus our Lord. Not with your fleshly mind, but rather with your spiritual mind. It is the mind of your spirit which possesses the armor of the mind of Jesus. When we accept this truth nothing or no one can defeat  us.

Please receive Peter's teaching here as we walk through this life here on earth knowing that we are already victorious. You only need to know that you are armed with the mind of Christ. Jesus did only what he saw the Father do, and he only said what he heard the Father say.

Arm yourselves with the mind of Christ.

1st Peter 4:2

2 That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.

Brothers, we are no longer to live our lives in the flesh as the lost world lives. But, rather we are to live the rest of our time here on earth to the will of God.

Please pray each morning as you rise to face your day, that the Holy Spirit who is your teacher would show you when you step our of God's will for your life. He will show you all things. All you have to do is ask, and then receive. Walk in the grace of God.

THE GATES OF HELL

THE GATES OF HELL

Brothers, Acts 26:14 tells us that Saul was on the road to Damascus
with some of his soldiers when the light of God appeared to him and
knocked him from his horse to the ground. He was blinded by this
light. Saul new that it was the Lord who had done this thing.

God said, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? Is it hard for thee to
kick against the pricks.

Saul was the great persecutor of the Church. Everytime that he
heard people were gathering to hear, and worship Jesus, he and his
soldiers would come and attack the crowd, beating them, and
arresting them. He was called the persecutor of theChurch because
this is what he did.

As Saul lay on the ground blinded by the light of God himself. God
wanted to know if kicking against the pricks was hard.

I fill sure that God had convicted Saul on many occasions of his sins,
just as he did us before we surrendered to Him. God had chosen
Saul to do great work for the kingdom of God. Saul had resisted God
in the past when conviction would come upon him, but this time God
meant to gain Saul's attention.

You know the story of how Saul became Paul one of God's most
successful Apostile'.

We are told in the book of Revelation Chapter 12:11 that the servants
of God overcame satin by the blood of the Lamb, Jesus Christ the Son
of God.

The blood of Jesus is the first strand of barbed wire on the
fence around Hell.

His saving blood is the only thing that can save you from
spending eternity in Hell. He came and died for us all. He is and
always will be our Lord and Saviour. He died for everyone on this
earth. All that is necessary for the lost to be saved is to call upon
Him, and accept him as Lord and Saviour, and to trust in him for by
grace through our faith in Jesus are you saved.

Confess him and know his saving grace my friends. Accept him and
be delivered from the gates of Hell which wait on all who are
unsaved in this day.

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not
of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and
preach the gospel to every creature.

Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is
the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the
Jew first, and also to the Greek.

The Gospel is the second strand of barbed wire around hell.

We all heard the gospel preached at some point in our lives. Our
spirit which had laid dormant in our bodies were quickened by the
Holy Spirit, as we accepted and knew the saving grace of Jesus Christ
the Son of God, and believed upon the Word of God as our truth.

Jesus commanded us to go fourth into the world and preach, teach,
and exhort the gospel of Christ Jesus and God the Father.

John 16:5 But now I go my way to him that sent me; and none of you
asketh me, Whither goest thou?
John 16:6 But because I have said these things unto you, sorrow hath
filled your heart.

John 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you
that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come
unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

John 16:8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin,
and of righteousness, and of judgment:

John 16:9 Of sin, because they believe not on me;

John 16:10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see
me no more;

John 16:11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.

John 16:12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot
bear them now.

John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will
guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but
whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you t
hings to come.

John 16:14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall
shew it unto you.

John 16:15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, t
hat he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

Brothers, Jesus is preparing his disciples here for his death, burial,
and resurrection to Heaven to sit at the right hand of the Father.

He is telling them that the Holy Spirit of God will be their comforter
and will also be the one who will bring conviction to the world for
there sins.

The Holy Spirit is the third string in the barbed fence around Hell!

Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord s
hall be saved.

Acts 4:10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel,
that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified,
whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand
here before you whole.

Philipians 2:9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and
given him a name which is above every name:

Brothers, the name of Jesus has all power and authority. There have
been many who called out His name in times of trouble, and found
his eagerness to reach out, and to save them both from an earthly
calamity, and save their very souls unto salvation. Praise God!

We also called out his name and do to this day when we find
ourselves in great need.

The name of Jesus is the fourth strand of barbed wire around Hell!

God the Father tries to stop those who come so very close to the
gates of Hell, as they go through this life.

Those who are lost, and do not know Jesus as thier Lord and Saviour,
repent now before you find the gate to hell open, and enter therein.
Pray for and witness to, the lost of this world while there is still time
my brothers!

Brothers, look at the four strands of barbed wire above. See that
these are here to prick the conscience of the lost of this world in
hopes of turning these precious souls to God.

I love each of you, and know that most of us have kicked against the
pricks during our life. Just as God asked Saul on the road to
Damascus saying to him. Does it hurt to kick against the pricks?
He also watched us kick against this barbed wire fence surrounding
hell.

The Blood of Jesus, The Gospel, The Holy Spirit, The Name of Jesus
to this day stand as a barbed wire fence trying to prevent lost souls
from finding. and stumbling through the gates of hell.

Matthew 16:18 says plainly that the gates of hell shall not prevail
against the Church. We are the fortunate ones who finally listened
to God and called upon him, and were saved by both knowing, and
accepting Jesus Christ as our only way to eternal life.

Brothers, please pray for the lost in this hour. We are so very near
to the time of His appearing. Love your brothers in Christ Jesus and
live the life, and do the work that He has called you to do.

My dear brother Hilton Sutton preached a sermon once where he
spoke of the barbed wire fence around hell. He made the analogy
that if there are gates to hell then there must be a fence. For you
have no need of a gate if there is no fence.

He told the account of praying many hours about what was meant
about the gates of hell.

The Holy Spirit imparted unto him the four strands that would make
up the fence around hell. As I contemplated on his message so many,
many years ago a thought of drawing the above image. This would
help you to see the truth of God's Word where this fence is concerned,
as well as the purpose of this fence in keeping the lost from entering
the gate.

God Bless you my brothers, and those who are soon to be my
brothers.

WATCH FOR HIS SOON APPEARING

WATCHING FOR HIS APPEARING

Brothers, please see here in the following verses that we who are born again into the righteousness of Jesus Christ, are to be looking for his appearing.

Jesus has charged us with two commandments as we serve him while waiting for that blessed day.

JESUS SPEAKING HERE

Brothers, you and I have these two commandments.

The ten commandments of Moses' day was the law given by God to Israel in that day. God saw that after the fall of man in the garden of Eden, that man was unable to keep those ten commandments, because of his evil flesh, and if they broke one of these ten commandments of God, then they were guilty of breaking them all.

This is why it was necessary for Jesus to come to this world, and die for our sins.

The blood of Jesus was the only way that you and I could be cleansed of our unrighteousness. We now must keep these two commandments, that Jesus gave us here in the New Testament.

Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

Jesus' will bring to you and I a crown of righteousness on that day.

What day?

The day of his appearing to catch us away, and take us to heaven in our new glorified bodies.

Praise God !!

That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:

But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:

Do you see that our watching for His appearing, and keeping these two commandments, are expected of us by God the Father, and Jesus our Lord.

Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:

But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:

2 Titus 2:13 |

Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth.

Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:

And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.

But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another.

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

Mark 12:30-31

JESUS SPEAKING HERE

31 And the second is this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

God bless you my brothers in Christ Jesus. Please go about loving your brothers in Christ, and your neighbors as Jesus has commanded you and I to do.

Do these things before His very soon appearing. Don't be found walking with the world, and it's evil ways. Love your neighbor, and your brothers in Christ Jesus.

Please remember that it matters not what sanctuary your brother worships in. It only matters that they love the Lord Jesus Christ, and that they know him as the only way to eternal life. Jesus died for their sins just as he did for yours and mine.

They are commanded to love us as brothers just as we are to love them. But, you are to love them even if they don't love you. You and I must do what Jesus said.

God Bless!

WATCHING WITH EXPECTATION

WATCHING WITH EXPECTATION

Brothers, here Jesus is answering his disciples, their question of how would they know the time of His appearing. Many in this day are asking the same question, and many more are not expecting Jesus to come in their lifetime.

We as children of God born again and cleansed by the precious blood of Jesus, and who walk in the assurance of our eternal salvation must see, and know the season in which we now live.

Read the verses below here in Matthew Chapter 24, and see the truth of the time in which we now live. Be that good servant who both expected and was watching with anticipation for his masters soon arrival. Jesus whom we serve will arrive very soon my brothers. Please don't be caught sleeping when He appears to catch up his church. But rather be diligently going about completing your work which He has given you to do.

32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark,
39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Brothers, here Jesus has said that just as in the days of Noah men were busily going about their lives, and knew not the storm that was fast approaching. So shall the coming of the Son of man be. There will be many born again believers who will not be ready at his appearing. Remember the parable of the ten virgins, half were ready, and half were not ready when the bride groom came, and those were left behind. So too shall it be when the Son of man comes.

40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

Do you see here that two were working in the field, the one is taken, and the other left. Both were going about their daily lives, but one will be expecting Jesus to appear, and the other will not be expecting Him.

Please brothers go about your lives, but see and know the signs of the time in which we now live, and be watching and expecting Jesus to appear very soon.

43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
49 And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Brothers, if you are caught unaware when Jesus appears, you will be left behind to endure the trials of the great seven year tribulation period. Many believers will be brought through this period and many more lost will be saved during this period. But, all who survive must refuse to take the mark of the beast, and will be tortured and or killed because they would not deny Jesus Christ.

Also they will not be able to buy or sell anything without the mark either in their hand or their forehead. Take a moment to imagine you and some family members being on earth during this tribulation period. You are seeing your loved ones starve from not being able to buy food. They can not work a job and thus are not allowed to receive any income. They are not allowed to even purchase anything with the money which they had on hand when this period of tribulation began because they do not have the mark of the beast.

Please understand what is at stake here. If you are left behind to endure the tribulation period you will suffer great persecution by the world unless you take the mark of the beast. If you take the mark of the beast you are condemned to an eternal hell, and there will be no forgiveness for you.

Go and pray for understanding of God's Holy Word. Know that his Word is true, and He always keeps His Word. He tells us that He changes not. All that He has said will come to pass, and there is no getting around this truth.

God Bless you my brothers. WATCH and go about doing His work now!

YOU ARE RIGHTEOUS

YOU ARE RIGHTEOUS

Brothers, if you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior then you are Righteous. You and I did nothing of our own self to be Righteous. Just as we did nothing to be saved and forgiven of our sins. Jesus became our sins, he took our punishment for ALL of our sins. He was beaten and persecuted in our place. He was crucified and put to death in place for you and for us who know Jesus as the Son of God.

Please look at the photograph above and see that there is nothing standing in the way of your righteousness because Jesus gave us our righteousness.

Brothers just as you know that you are saved please know also that you are Righteous. The only thing that you did to be forgiven of your sins was to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. When you accepted Jesus as Savior then you also was made Righteous by that same cleansing blood of Jesus the Christ.

2nd Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
PRAISE GOD!!!

1st Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

Hebrews 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Brothers, please see from God's holy word that Jesus made you righteous. Don't listen to your fleshly mind when it tells you that your sin has taken your Righteousness.

We are told in the word of God that satin comes to steal, kill, and destroy. The devil corrupted our flesh when Adam and Eve listened to him in the garden of Eden. He uses your fleshly mind now to try to rob you of everything that God and Jesus has given us as born again children of God.

Always remember that satin is a liar always and can not tell the truth. He is evil always and goes about continuously trying to rob all children of God the truth of God's word.

From the time that you accepted and knew Jesus you were made a new creature. The old fleshly you died on the cross with Jesus, just as did your sins past, present, and future when you confessed these sins.

Your new inner man the born again spirit man, that lives inside your fleshly body, has a mind, and a heart. This new spirit mind and heart is your eyes and ears that God has given you. Walk by Spirit not by your fleshly sight.

The Holy Spirit of God has come to abide inside your spirit man along with Jesus himself. We are told in the word of God that Jesus and God's very own Holy Spirit has come to live inside each of us who are born again children of God. PRAISE GOD!!!

Romans 5:17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.

Do you see here that you by God's grace have received the gift of Righteousness which shall reign in your life by one, Jesus Christ.

Righteousness is a gift. You did not nor could you do anything to make yourself righteous. It is and always will be another free gift from God because of Jesus.

Anytime that satin through your fleshly mind try's to make you believe that you are unrighteous call him the liar that the word of God tells us he is. He can not tell the truth just as God can not lie.

HOLD FAST BROTHERS

HOLD FAST BROTHERS

Titus
Chapter 1

9Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.

Brothers, Paul was telling his own son Titus here as he was leaving him in Crete to hold fast to the truth as he had been taught. That he was both to choose the elders for the Church in Crete and also to exhort (speak strongly too) them, and to also convince those who were not walking in the gospel truth to repent and turn back to the Lord Jesus' teaching.

10For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision:

:The circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:

Brothers just as the Jews of Jesus' days were circumcised, we who are alive in this day are the circumcised made without hands by the circumcision of Christ Jesus.

11Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake.

Paul tells Titus and us here that we are to stop those of this day who subvert whole houses by teaching the doctrine of men and not the word of God.

12One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians are alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies.

A prophet from Crete said of his own people that they are liars always, that they were evil beasts.

Brothers these same worldly walking liars are here on earth in this day.

13This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;

We are to rebuke these people sharply, that hey may come back to be of sound faith and not be deceived by the liars of this day.

14Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.

15Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.

Brothers, Paul tells his son Titus here that even their mind and conscience is defiled. They have believed the commandments taught by lying men who claim to preach the word of God, but do not. Rather they preach a lie for money (filthy lucre's) sake. These are the deceivers of our day.

16They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

These people are deceiving so many people in this day. They profess from their mouths that they know God and that they love Him. When by their works they deny Him. They are abominable and disobedient, and they do no good work for God.

Brothers, please recognize these deceivers and rebuke them when you are shown who they are. Turn away from these people and if they do not repent then have no part with them.

Pray for these liars to have their eyes opened by the Holy Spirit.
God bless you my brothers who both walk and work in God's holy word.

James Chapter 1:26-27

26 If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.
27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

Brothers, we are taught in this the first chapter of the book of James. That pure religion and undefiled before God the Father is to visit the fatherless and the widows.

We are also told to keep ourselves unspotted from the world.

He goes on to tell us that we are to bridle our tongues. He says that if any man seem to be religious and does not bridle his own tongue then this man's religion is vain.

In other words he is walking through this life saying what ever he pleases without regard to God's holy word.

When you read this 1st chapter of James you see that he is teaching us to walk with God. If we do not take charge of our tongues then we are walking as the world walks, and even following after the worlds ways, and not Gods ways.

Verse 19 says;
19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:

Brothers, we as children of God are to be swift to hear, but slow to speak, and slow to wrath.

We are not to speak as the world speaks in wrath and anger at the things that someone might do to us or say about us.

We are God's children not the worlds children. For we have been bought with a price. Jesus has grafted us into the vine of holiness.

20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.
21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

Brothers we are not to hear the words of God only, but rather are to both hear and do his word. He says in verse 22 above that we are not to be hearers only. That if we only hear his word and do not do his word then we are deceiving our own selves. Indeed our religion is in vain.

23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

Brothers we are to do His work here on this earth. If we both hear and do his work then are we being made perfect in Jesus' image.

This is what God expects from those of us who have believed his word.

We are indeed to hear and do his word. We are no longer to walk through this life in the flesh as the lost world walks in the flesh.

No brothers, we are to both hear God's word, and are to do His word.

God bless you my brothers;

NEW JERUSALEM

THE CITY NEW JERUSALEM
COMING DOWN FROM HEAVEN

1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

9 And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.
10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,

Brothers please see that we are told plainly here in Revelation Chapter 21, that the bride of Christ is the city 'New Jerusalem'.

We are told plainly throughout the new testament that we, you and I, the Church is the body of Christ. Jesus is the head and we are his body. We will forever be with the Lord in the new Heaven here on the new Earth.

Do not allow any man to deceive you.

THE 12 FOUNDATIONS OF THE CITY
NEW JERUSALEM

19 And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald;
20 The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst.
21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.

WOW! Each of the 12 gates into the city is one single pearl!

John continues to describe what he sees.

11 Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;
12 And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:
13 On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.
14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
15 And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.
16 And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.
17 And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.
18 And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.

The bride of Christ, The new Jerusalem.

The wall of the city was great and high. There were 12 gates whereby to enter the city. There were 3 gates on the East
3 gates on the South, 3 gates on the West, 3 gates on the North.
each gate was of 1 giant pearl.

Each of the 12 foundations of the wall had the names of the twelve apostles of Jesus.

The angel measured the wall of the great city with a golden reed.

The city is foursquare, and the length and the width are the same. It measured twelve thousand furlongs.

The wall is 1500 miles east, 1500 miles west, 1500 miles north, and 1500 miles south.

The wall is also 1500 miles high.

WOW! Stop and imagine this great and beautiful new Jerusalem.

There is an outer wall that surrounds the 1500 mile high wall and it is 144 cubits high.

This is equal to a 21 story building. This is the wall made up of the beautiful 12 stones pictured above. Just imagine a 21 story
wall made of these beautiful stones that stretch 1500 miles in every direction.

Then when your eyes reach the top of this beautiful wall then your eyes continue to follow the 1500 mile high inter wall upward
for as far as you can see.

The city will be pure gold like clear glass.

Brothers, we have never even imagined such a place in our mind.

We will dwell here in this great city 'New Jerusalem' with our God the Father, our Lord Jesus, and all of the great men of the bible.

Our loved ones will be dwelling here with us. Our families who are now in heaven will be moved here to the new heaven on this reborn and new earth.

We will forever be with the LORD!

God bless you my brothers, and have a blessed new year!

FALSE GODS OF THIS DAY

FALSE GODS OF THIS DAY

PSALM 106

Brothers, we who are alive in this day are tempted in ways like never before in history. It is so easy to become caught up in the ways of this world. If we as Christians are not vigilant in our daily walk with Christ Jesus we too can go down that road. The whole of Psalm 106 should be read by my brothers in Christ.

In this message that God has given me to share with you I will be pulling relevant verses out from this chapter as we compare the delivered children of Israel to ourselves in this day in which we now live. Those of you who live in other countries around the world, will see that even when I name America by name, it will often remind you of the things in your own country which your brothers there are also faced with each and every day. Here the Psalmist David is reminding his people of Israel how God worked in their lives over and over.

1Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
2Who can utter the mighty acts of the LORD? who can shew forth all his praise?
3Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times.

Here David says that you are blessed if you do not judge your brothers, and blessed if you do righteousness at all times.

Brothers we who strive every day to both be and do righteousness will fail at some point in almost every day. But, when we do fail the word of God tells us to repent and step back into the righteousness that Jesus placed upon each of us who know him.

We are to pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, and repent as we continue on our Christ Jesus like walk here in this world in which we live.

The Bible tells us that we are not of this world, but rather we are in this world. Temptation is all around us as we strive to walk Christ like in this life. Even though we may fail at times we are to always strive to walk, live, act, and be seen by others as Christ like.

4Remember me, O LORD, with the favour that thou bearest unto thy people: O visit me with thy salvation;
5That I may see the good of thy chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of thy nation, that I may glory with thine inheritance.
6We have sinned with our fathers, we have committed iniquity, we have done wickedly.
7Our fathers understood not thy wonders in Egypt; they remembered not the multitude of thy mercies; but provoked him at the sea, even at the Red sea.
8Nevertheless he saved them for his name's sake, that he might make his mighty power to be known.

Brothers, here David says plainly to the people of his day that even though they have sinned as did their fathers, the God of Heaven saved them as Moses delivered them out of bondage and slavery in Egypt.

The parting of the Red Sea was for most if not all the first time that they had saw a true miracle performed by God.

Think about what the Bible tells us about this event.

Moses had led the former captives of Egypt to the banks of the Red Sea. The Egyptians were racing after them and I am sure if they could not yet see them they could most certainly see the dust clouds as the Egyptians closed in on them.

We are told in the Bible that many at that moment begin to wish that Moses had left them in captivity. They now feared the death that the Egyptian soldiers were going to bring upon them.

God parted the Red Sea and all of the former slaves along with Moses crossed over the sea on dry ground. As they stepped out of what was a moment before the Sea onto dry ground on the other side the Egyptian army arrived on the opposite bank where only a moment before they had stood looking over the Red Sea.

They saw the soldiers as they also entered the dry ground and start across just as they had just done themselves.

As the soldiers were fully into the parted sea God allowed the water to come pouring down upon top of each one. All of the soldiers were drowned instantly before their eyes.

10And he saved them from the hand of him that hated them, and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.
11And the waters covered their enemies: there was not one of them left.
12Then believed they his words; they sang his praise.

Here they believed in God and began singing his praise.

13They soon forgat his works; they waited not for his counsel:
14But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tempted God in the desert.

But, the praise of God their deliverer was short lived. They soon forgot his work and refused to wait on Moses to carry them into the promised land that he had told them about. We are told here that they even began to envy Moses as he went back and forth to the mountain where he spoke to God.

How could they possibly forget the miracle that they had experienced?

How soon do we forget the times that God has delivered us from our troubles?

We will sing God's praises just as they did when they saw with their own eyes their enemy's wiped off of the face of the earth. But, that deliverance is short lived in our own minds.

19They made a calf in Horeb, and worshipped the molten image.
20Thus they changed their glory into the similitude of an ox that eateth grass.
21They forgat God their saviour, which had done great things in Egypt;
22Wondrous works in the land of Ham, and terrible things by the Red sea.

Because they made a golden calf and worshiped it God became very angry and said that he would destroy them.

23Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy them.

Brothers please see here that Moses stood before God and pleaded to God not to give up on the ungrateful people which Moses had helped God to deliver from their captivity.

How many times have our loved ones stood before God and pleaded our case. But by their prayers we were saved. Jesus himself makes intercessions unto God the Father for us each day, as does the Holy Spirit .

24Yea, they despised the pleasant land, they believed not his word:
25But murmured in their tents, and hearkened not unto the voice of the LORD.
26Therefore he lifted up his hand against them, to overthrow them in the wilderness:
27To overthrow their seed also among the nations, and to scatter them in the lands.
28They joined themselves also unto Baalpeor, and ate the sacrifices of the dead.
29Thus they provoked him to anger with their inventions: and the plague brake in upon them.
32They angered him also at the waters of strife, so that it went ill with Moses for their sakes:
33Because they provoked his spirit, so that he spake unadvisedly with his lips.

Moses also became angry at them having had his own spirit provoked by their unbelief and idol worshiping.

36And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them.
37Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils,
38And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.
39Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions.

Brothers the sons and daughters of this day do the same thing. Just look around at all of the evil inventions that man has made to pervert the blessings of God upon our own land. Here in America we who were blessed above every nation on earth with peace and prosperity have set back and watched evil men and women of this nation throw away every good thing of God.

They deny God's very existence. He has been taken out of our schools, our Government buildings, and almost every public place. More than 60 million babies have been legally killed by these wicked and godless people of America. They have allowed men to  marry men, and women to marry women. They have embraced evil men and women politicians as they go about doing illegal and immoral acts.

My brothers here in America know that this, and so much more has become common place here, in this day, in this country.

America received in the 2016 presidential election, what I truly believe will prove to be our last chance for this country to turn back to God. This president now stands in the gap between God and his wrath befalling America, just as Moses did in his time.

Brothers if we do not heed this last opportunity that we have been given, then God may not only turn his back on us as a nation, but also remove all of our past blessings from us. We as Christians must NOW speak the truth of Gods Holy Word before it is to late.

40Therefore was the wrath of the LORD kindled against his people, insomuch that he abhorred his own inheritance.
41And he gave them into the hand of the heathen; and they that hated them ruled over them.

Brothers, those who hate us as Christians rule over us here in America. We are hated more and more each day as this now evil nation goes about planing how that they might destroy all Christians.

42Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their hand.
43Many times did he deliver them; but they provoked him with their counsel, and were brought low for their iniquity.
47Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks unto thy holy name, and to triumph in thy praise.
48Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye the LORD.

Brothers, in closing let me say that the picture of an old man shown at the top of this page represents our forefathers from around the world. We as his children, grandchildren, and great great great grandchildren have turned away from his ways. For some is has meant turning to Christianity and for others it has meant turning from.

As Christians some of us were taught the traditions of our fathers, if you will.

While others of us were taught denominational belief such as only the Baptist are right, or the Methodists, or the Church of Christs, or the Churches of God, and on and on.

In this respect our forefathers were wrong. There were no man made denominations in Jesus' day. He did not ordain any division of His church.

Man did this not God or Jesus. Man is always trying to pull a group of other men and women into the way that he believes. They set up all of these rules of belief and if you don't believe every man made rule that they make then you are asked to leave.

Brothers, if you get anything out of this ministry that God has given me then I pray that you have come to understand, or will come to understand, that we as Christians are the church.

The Bible tells us so, and we are also the body of Christ which Jesus himself is the head of our body. We as Christians are only to do his work as we walk through this life.

We are not to be divided by man. We are to turn away from all who come to divide us. Don't be deceived into believing a lie, and division of the body of Christ is the biggest lie that the devil has ever told. Those men, women, pastors, teachers and evangelist who are teaching this have been deceived.

Don't be deceived!

Do not allow your money, your jobs, your house, your car, your thoughts, to become your idol that comes before your God.

Brothers, God expects for you to put him first in your life. Being first in your life is the only way that God can work through you.
Please remove every thing and every possession from first place in your life, and make, and keep God FIRST IN YOUR LIFE.

God bless you my brothers. Jesus is coming soon!

YOUR DAILY PROFESSION OF FAITH

YOUR DAILY PROFESSION OF FAITH

Brothers our LORD has given us many, many promises in His holy word. I would like to share with you three of these promises found in the book of Psalms.

I read these three promises into my life as a prayer each day. The Holy Spirit has asked that I share these with you.

When you read these in the first tense, (example: thee as me, thy as my, thine as mine, and thou as I, etc.), you are claiming them as God's promise just for you.

Psalm 91
1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
9 Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, eventhe most High, thy habitation;
10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

Psalm 103
1  (A Psalm of David.) Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.
6 The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.
7 He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.
8 The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.
9 He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.
10He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
11 For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.
12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.
13 Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.
14 For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.
15 As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.
16 For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.
17 But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;
18 To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.
19 The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all.
20 Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.
21 Bless ye the LORD, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure.
22 Bless the LORD, all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the LORD, O my soul.

Psalm 121
1 (A Song of degrees.) I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
2 My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.
3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.
6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
7 The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
8 The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

Read these promises into your life and allow time to see each verse as yours. Meditate on each verse as the Spirit urges you too.

God bless you my brothers in Christ Jesus.

THIS DEFILES A MAN

THIS DEFILES A MAN

Mark Ch. 7

5 Then the Pharisees and scribes asked him, Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashen hands?

Here the Pharisees asked Jesus why his decipiles did not wash their hands before that they began to eat.

6He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.
7Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
8For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.

Jesus called them hypocrites. He said that Esaias was correct when he had said that these people honor God with their lips but that their heart is far from him.

Do you see some who profess to be Christians in this day who speak Godly words from their mouth, but their heart is far from God. In other words they say that they are Christians, but the actions from their heart are not of God but rather of a lost worldly man.

9And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.
10For Moses said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death:
11But ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; he shall be free.
12And ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother;
13Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.

Jesus told the pharaces that by them not walking with reverence by honoring their father and mother as Moses had taught them they had made the very word of God  of none effect. He said that through their traditions and in many other things witch they did.

14And when he had called all the people unto him, he said unto them, Hearken unto me every one of you, and understand:
15There is nothing from without a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man.
16If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.

Jesus tells us plainly here that the things that enter our mouth are not what defiles us. It is the things which live in our heart and come out of us as words, actions, and all things that those who are watching us see us do and say.

The way that we live our lives are on display for all to see. Not only other Christians, but also the lost world who may be seeing us say and do the very things that they do.

These actions and words not only hinder the lost from accepting Jesus as their Lord and Savior, but prevent those new Christians from growing into a mature Christian.

Brothers our words and actions have consequences not only for us but also for all of those who see and hear us each day.

17And when he was entered into the house from the people, his disciples asked him concerning the parable.
18And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye not perceive, that whatsoever thing from without entereth into the man, it cannot defile him;
19Because it entereth not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the draught, purging all meats?
20And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man.
21For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,
22Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:
23All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.

God bless you my brothers in Christ Jesus. When you fail to speak and act as God has taught you. You simply pick your self up, dust yourself off, repent of that word or action and continue walking Christ like through this life.

GO ABOUT DOING THE WORK

Go About His Work
It is later than you think.

Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Brothers we are to walk in the will of God. We were chosen for a reason, and were given an assignment to complete in our lifetime. If we as children of God or content to just set in our chosen sanctuary on a given Sunday. Then the above verse could be spoken for your benefit.
Do God's will.

Matthew 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

If we have to defend our service to God. Then perhaps we should do more while we can.

Matthew 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Brothers, we will not hide from God and Jesus, the work that we did not do for Him, in this life.

Matthew 7:24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

Brothers, take your hearing and do what he tells you to do.

Matthew 7:25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

Matthew 7:26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:

Don't be a foolish man thinking that God will not know everything that you both did, and did not do.

Matthew 7:27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

The house that you build for God will not stand if built on sand.

Matthew 7:28 And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:

Matthew 7:29 For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

Jesus has all authority over us. Stand on his truth! His word is truth!

God bless,

GROWN & WEEP

GROAN AND WEEP

John 11:33 When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and was troubled.

John 11:34 And said, Where have ye laid him? They said unto him, Lord, come and see.John 11:35 Jesus wept.

Brothers, Jesus did not groan in the spirit, nor did he weep for Lazarus, but rather he groaned and wept for their like of faith in God who had sent him.

John 11:36 Then said the Jews, Behold how he loved him!

They still thought that Jesus groaned and wept because of His great love for Lazarus. But, his groaning and weeping was because of their unbelief. Jesus did indeed love Lazarus greatly and had called him a friend, but He cried for their unbelief not for Lazarus.

John 11:37 And some of them said, Could not this man, which opened the eyes of the blind, have caused that even this man should not have died?

They said among themselves, this man has done great things before could not he have caused this man not to die. Some, if not most, had seen Jesus perform great miracles of healing and was saying here, "why did Jesus not heal him so that he would not have died".

John 11:38 Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the grave. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it.

John 11:39 Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days.

Do you see that no one here believed that Jesus could raise Lazarus from the dead after four days.

John 11:40 Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?

Jesus said to Mary, "didn't I say to you, that, if you would believe, you would see the glory of God".

John 11:41 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.

John 11:42 And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me.

Brothers, Jesus prayed to God the Father, I know that you always hear and answer me, thank you that you always do, but, because of the people which stand here I said this that they may believe that you have sent me.

Do you see that Jesus only had to speak the word and God's Holy Spirit which dwelt inside Jesus, would perform that word. The same Spirit of God who was always present with Jesus is always present with you and I. Praise God!

John 11:43 And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice,
Lazarus, come forth.

John 11:44 And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin.

Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.

John 11:45 Then many of the Jews which came to Mary, and had seen the things which Jesus did, believed on him.

We are told here that many believed on Jesus when they saw Lazarus come walking our of his tomb now alive again, because Jesus had said, 'Lazarus come forth'.

Brothers, we are to have the love for each other that Jesus had for both Lazarus and those who did not believe. We are to love our brothers and the lost enough to groan in the spirit and too weep for both of them.  When the lost sees us having love for our brothers in Christ, then they may believe upon the Holy name of Jesus as their Lord and savour. We are commanded to love one another just as we love the Lord our God.

John 17:16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

John 17:18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.

John 17:19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.

John 17:20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;

John 17:21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

John 17:22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

John 17:23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

John 17:24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.

John 17:25 O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.

John 17:26 And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.

Brothers, please go about working the fields with your brothers in love. There is only today.

God Bless you my brothers in Christ Jesus,

John Hipp
