THE LAWLESS - THE DISOBEDIENT
1Timothy 1:9 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,
1Timothy 1:10 For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;
Brothers, we were of the unrighteous group listed above. We were the lawless and disobedient of God's will. We were the lost and unsaved. We were the reason that Jesus had to be born as a man on this earth, and we were the reason that Jesus had to die, for our sins, iniquities, diseases, and curses that our ungodliness had brought upon ourselves, because we refused to live under God's law. We all lived a lawless and disobedient life separated from God the Father.
1Timothy 1:11 According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.
1Timothy 1:12 And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;
Brothers, we are blessed by God to have been given victory over who we were, before Jesus. Praise God! We having been saved, by the cleansing blood of Jesus Christ our Lord, are no longer lawless and disobedient. But, now because of our faith, by grace in Jesus, we are no longer under the law, but rather under the spirit.
We ask forgiveness every time that we sin or trespass against God or our fellow man. We are forgiven, we are blessed, God's Word tells us that we are made righteous by Jesus' birth, death and resurrection, and that we are made to sit with him at the right hand of God the Father, We shall live forever as Jesus and the Father shall live forever. We shall forever be with the Lord.
1Timothy 1:13 Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.
1Timothy 1:14 And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
1Timothy 1:15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
1Timothy 1:16 Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.
1Timothy 1:17 Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Praise God, we are made victorious, we walk through this life into eternal life because of Jesus and the love, grace, and mercy of God the Father. We are to walk always in obedience to our God the Creator of mankind.
God Bless you my brothers,
