1 Peter 4:9-11 ESV / Show hospitality to one another without grumbling. As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
Brothers, we as children of God have ALL been called into service, and are to serve God the Father, and Jesus our Lord. We are to do this without grumbling, and yes indeed we are to serve one another, as o Jesus served mankind while he was here on earth. God will give us the strength to serve here on earth just as he gave Jesus strength for His service on this earth. God is glorified through our service unto our brothers, and our fellowman.
Galatians 5:13 ESV / For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.
We have been made free from the sins of this world, and of the flesh which binds the lost here on earth. We who are saved by the precious blood of Jesus are called into His service. We are to serve God now while we still can.
Ephesians 4:28 ESV / Let the thief no longer steal, but rather let him labor, doing honest work with his own hands, so that he may have something to share with anyone in need.
It is by the labor of our on hands that we prosper personally so that we may have to share with anyone in need. We are told in the above verse to give unto others what we have earned. Not just monetarily, but spiritually the words that God's very own Holy Spirit has taught us, that we might teach those who are in need of hearing God's Holy Word.
Romans 12:6-7 ESV / Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith; if service, in our serving; the one who teaches, in his teaching;
Brothers, we ALL HAVE GIFTS, and they differ from one to another. God gave you that gift,and placed you in the exact place and time in which only you can use the gift, to serve one another. Your use of that gift may affect that person that you come in contact with, to the point that he or she is changed forever.
We do not know the needs of others, but God does, and he uses each of us too that end. He fills the needs of others by your service to God, and your service to your brothers, and your fellowman.
1 Peter 4:11 ESV / Whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
1 Thessalonians 5:17-18 ESV / Pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
Yes brothers, it is God's will that we pray without ceasing. Go about serving God and doing his will, by prayerfully seeking not only your gift, but also by using it in your service as He intended us to do.
James 2:26 ESV / For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, so also faith apart from works is dead.
God Bless you my brothers in Christ Jesus,
